Topping up rock wool wall insulation

We would like to get our wall insulation checked and topped up if poss. We’ve seen in the cavity recently when we had a new front door, and it’s patchy to say the least:(

our property is 19 yrs old.

is this possible? Does anyone know how we find a reputable company?
are there any grants as we’re 70/75.
thanks

I doubt if any CWI company will fill a cavity already part or full filled.
When you say patchy, is it full fill with bits missing or damaged, or possibly the wrong size as in too thin?

my understanding is once its been done no-one will touch it. Either to remove it or to 'top-up' as it would be impossible for them to know where the gaps are.

19 year old property was probably built with the insulation in place - If it had been retrofitted, there will be a series of ~25mm holes drilled in to the walls at regular intervals. It is going to be more hassle & expense than it is worth to remove & inject new insulation. The money would probably be better spent installing internal wall insulation.

The insulation is blown in from the inner walls on a new build, so the holes aren't visible.

Ours was those large 'kingspan' foil backed insulation sheets (built 2004) so impossible to add to I'd think

Yours is probably part filled which wouldn't be filled. CWI firms can come back to do cavities which they have poorly filled themselves, but unlikely to do ones done by another firm.
