Warm homes discount

I applied for my WHD with together energy and was accepted, however it was never paid to me. Then my supplier went into administration and I was transferred to British Gas, who will not pay it as I didn’t originally apply for it through them. They are also no longer accepting new applications. They have said the issue needs to be taken up with together energy. Seems nobody wants to take responsibility. Have I lost my whd? Anyone help?

Unfortunately you lost it if you are not in the core group.

What will happen to my Warm Home Discount?

We understand this may be a worrying time for many people who are facing financial hardship. 

We're working closely with suppliers to make sure customers in the scheme's 'core group' (where you get the Guarantee Credit element of Pension Credit) can continue to automatically receive the discount. 

Any broader group customer who gets the Warm Home Discount and is switched to a new supplier if their supplier fails will be able to reapply for the discount.

Once we've appointed a new supplier, you should contact them for details.
