Can anyone help with these queries please

1/ doesn’t seem to use an initial  linked account during setup  for securing withdrawals is this correct you just transfer and enter yourself as payee

2/ monthly atm limit abroad is 700 but you can apply for upgrade 1000  , is this calendar month or rolling month from account start.

3/ transferring to foreign accounts , is this possible , does it have SWIFT integration and are there fees for sending Money this way

4/ is this still best account for instant access savings (1.5%) considering other benefits like Cashback and 5% on round ups, is any other comparable apps / accounts worth looking into

5/ if within protected limits are they  any valid reasons to keep more than £1 in Atom and Marcus

loving the app , just frustrated on monthly atm limit abroad :-(  never spotted that when signing up

Many thanks

Why not pay on debit card more often when abroad?

On 3 you mean no facility at all? Im
having to use Barclays currently but it’s £4 a time in non EURO countries and they inflate the spot rate by 2.75

I do try to use my debit card always amd the auto category / analysis is a big driver but it’s just not always possible when you negotiate hard and in high value transactions the merchant frees impact the deal so often they want cash. Also in some poorer  areas of the cities merchants simply  don’t have card machines

For foreign currency transfers try; Fineco, TransferWise or Revolut.

    Yes, no facility at all.

But as above, use a currency transfer service rather than a bank for foreign transactions. Check on monito.com what deals you can get
