Hi all, I’ve booked a holiday with Loveholidays and would appreciate some advice.
£2k for a week in Greece next week. I booked last Thursday and paid via credit card. LH emailed me to say they couldn’t complete the booking but that they would be in touch 72hours later to offer a solution. That deadline has passed and I haven’t heard back. There is no live chat or telephone number. I’ve emailed them twice and had no reply. I don’t want to book with someone else to find that I have two holidays booked but I really don’t want to waste my time waiting for LH. Can I cancel

Although not COVID related I’m wondering if it’s worth posting on the COVID travel board to see if it picks up a quicker response? Very sorry as I’m unsure of the answer myself and would hate to give wrong advice.0

There is a number hidden on their website - have you tried this one?“If you do not have a LOV Booking ID reference you will not be able to log into Manage My Booking. This is the problem with some OTAs that aren't actually package holiday operators, but just package arrangers. When you make your "booking" you are actually submitting a booking request. They will then proceed and book your travel arrangements with airline/hotel/transfer operator etc to make the package.
Generally this happens in near real time without much issue but there are occasions where pricing/availability has changed so the booking request doesn't actually become a booking.
I think you are very wise to hold off booking anything else until you confirm with LH that nothing has been booked, or the transaction drops off or gets refunded to your card.
Can't help with getting hold of them though... I don't envy you.0 -
