You will need to give some additional information.

When you say you were £527 in credit, was that a credit on your final bill or before you received the final bill?

What was your meter readings when you were transferred to Shell (on 13th of October?).

What was your meter readings on 31st of March and what are they today?

When did you set up the £220 direct debits and how many of them are shown on your account?

    Welcome to the forum!
A few things to look at before getting into a panic...
Have estimated readings been used at all? If so, these can throw statements wildly out. Check your latest statement to see if it has an E or anything else beside the readings.
Was your credit from Pure Planet successfully transferred to Shell?
Have you got actual readings from your time with Shell? If so, can you tell use what they were and their dates. That, along with your tariff rates will allow someone to calculate what your usage has actually cost.
