Aer Lingus on Heart, Smooth, Capital and Radio X, April 2022 – Specific Rules
1. The Aer Lingus promotion (‘Promotion’) is organised by Global (as defined in the General Terms and Conditions). The Promotion will run from Monday 16th May 2022 to Sunday 27th May 2022 on Heart North West, Heart North Lancs & Cumbria, Heart North Wales, Heart West Midlands; Smooth North West, Smooth North Wales & Cheshire, Smooth Lake District, Smooth West Midlands; Capital Manchester and Lancashire and Radio X Manchester. Global is the Promoter.: The ‘Promotion Partner’ mentioned in these Specific Rules is Aer Lingus, and The ‘Prize Provider mentioned in these Specific Rules are NDL.

4. Online entry will open at 00.01am on Monday 16th May 2022 and close at 23.59pm on Sunday 27th May 2022. Entries received before or after this time will not be included in the Promotion.
5. Within 7 days of the closing time of the Promotion, all eligible entries will be entered into a draw. One correct entry will be selected at random and the winning entrant will be contacted by one of our representatives via telephone on the telephone number on which you entered. If such winner does not respond within 28 days from being contacted, they will forfeit their right to the prize, and we shall be entitled to select another winner by another random draw. That subsequent winner must respond to the notification email within 7 days of the date on which they are notified, or they will also forfeit the prize.

We and the prize provider may publish and publicise your name, your nearest geographical location (for example, your nearest city, town or county) and your entry], and we may refer to your and any applicable third party’s (for example a guest/travel companion) association with the Promotion and/or the prize, in any and all media, worldwide, in perpetuity, for publicity and PR purposes solely in connection with the Promotion.

11. Travel is subject to availability at the discretion of NDL Travel and excludes the Christmas holiday period, Valentine’s Day/weekend, Easter weekend and all other bank holiday weekends in both the UK and the USA.
12. Transfers to the hotel/airport are not private and you may be sharing with other passengers.
13. UK Passport holders travelling to the United States of America are required to have a valid ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) from the US Embassy. You can apply for this a minimum of 72 hours prior to travel although we recommend you apply as soon as your travel is confirmed. Please note that anyone without an ESTA will be deported from the US upon arrival without exception. It is the winner’s responsibility to comply with the ESTA visa requirements of the US. Approval is at the discretion of the US Embassy and NDL Group cannot be held responsible for this being rejected. Should the winner purchase their ESTA through a third party rather than the official site, NDL will only reimburse the actual cost of the ESTA and not any of the fees involved.
14. You will be staying in a 4* hotel, sharing a family room with en-suite bathroom on a bed and breakfast basis. Your prize stay also includes local taxes and resort fees for the duration of your stay which is payable locally to the hotel when you check-out. Some US hotels require one guest to be aged 21 years or over.
15. Admission to Universal's Volcano Bay is based on 2 adults and 2 children for 1 set day only. Each ride has restrictions on both height and age. Park opens daily from 10am to 6pm.
16. Due to the current ongoing situation with travel advice in relation to Covid-19, we would advise that you look at all the information available with regards to quarantine, vaccination, and testing requirements of the destination you are travelling to, before selecting your dates. To understand the risks in a country, including the latest COVID restrictions (including for entry), follow FCDO Travel Advice. You can find information online at https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice. It is your responsibility to comply with any Covid-19 checks for entering the USA and upon returning to the UK. NDL Group cannot be held responsible for the winner not having the correct travel documentation, test results, vaccine status or following any COVID-19 regulations.
17. Travel insurance is subject to normal terms of acceptance. Pre-existing medical conditions may not be covered. No age restrictions apply.
18. All prizes must be claimed and booked by the prize winner within 12 months from the date of our initial correspondence with them.
Flights:
19. The prize consists of: Return flights for 2 adults, 2 children only, from Manchester to Orlando.
20. Minimum booking noticed of 4 weeks will apply. All prize winners should first check aerlingus.com for their preferred flight date/time and request availability of their preference from their Aer Lingus contact. Please allow up to 2 working days for a response from Aer Lingus on availability and booking confirmation.
21. To book their flights, the prize winner must supply names of the 2 adults and 2 children travelling as per their passports, an email address, a home address and a contact number. Once your ticket has been issued your contact information will only be used if there is a change in your flight status.
22. There is no cash value or alternative to this prize which is non-transferable.
23. Frequent Flyer points or miles cannot be accrued on flights.
24. Transport to/From Manchester airport and destination airport are not included.
25. Prize includes flights for 2 adults and 2 children only, travel must take place by 31st March 2023 excluding peak holiday periods (Bank Holidays, Mid-Term Break, Christmas, New Year's etc).
26. Booking must be made at least 4 weeks in advance.
27. Flight tickets are for economy class only.
28. Flight tickets will only be issued by email.
29. Aer Lingus reserves the right to change its schedule at short notice and in such an event, the passenger will be advised by email.
30. While every effort will be made to facilitate the winners with their requests for specific travel dates, Aer Lingus reserves the right to choose specific flights and dates.
31. All flights are subject to availability and it may be difficult to obtain first-choice flights during peak travel periods, including but not restricted to: Bank Holidays, School Holidays, Mid-Term Breaks or Sporting Events.
32. Winner and guests must have full passport valid for 6 months at time of travel. Any necessary visas (including ESTA) are responsibility of winner and guests. The winner should check with their local authorities regarding passport and visa requirements.
33. The prize winner must be aged 18 or over. Aer Lingus Limited reserves the right to require proof of age and evidence to verify the identity of an entrant at any time.
34. The winner may be required to take part in any publicity accompanying or resulting from this competition.
35. It is the responsibility of the winner to check with their local authorities regarding passport, and all other travel requirements for entry into the destination country, and to pay any associated fees that go with these requirements e.g., COVID tests.
36. You must, at your own cost, comply with all necessary checks, and/or tests required for travelling to and from and entering and exiting your travel destination/venue. This includes, but is not limited to, purchasing, organising, undertaking, recording and/or registering any required Covid-19 tests. We will not be responsible for any costs incurred by you in complying with this clause, nor will we purchase, organise, undertake, record and/or register any required Covid-19 tests.
37. You must comply with all applicable rules, regulations and guidance relating to Covid-19, both in the UK and your travel destination/venue. We are not responsible for your failure to comply with such rules, regulations and guidance.
38. You acknowledge and agree that, without limitation to the provisions of Clause 12 of the General Terms & Conditions, our ability to fulfil a prize and/or perform any of our obligations under the Promotion Terms and Conditions could be affected by an actual or threatened epidemic, pandemic, disease or quarantine and/or any corresponding governmental action, guidance and/or ruling (including but not limited to any Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office guidance) (collectively ‘Covid Measures’).
39. If due to any Covid Measures, we are unable to fulfil a prize or perform any of our other obligations under the Promotion Terms and Conditions, then we shall not be in breach of the Promotion Terms and Conditions. In accordance with Clause 42 below, in these circumstances, we reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value at our absolute discretion.
40. Any other costs and expenses which are not specifically included in the prize description are excluded and will be the sole responsibility of the winner. By way of example, without limitation, additional food and drink is not included within the prize.
41. The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable.
42. We reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value at our absolute discretion.
