PSp do I need a memory stick ?

Hiya , I have just bought 2 psp's for my kids for christmas , I don't really want to spend any more if I don't have to.
I really don't have a clue about them i just got fed up lookng for ds's ,Does it need a memory stick or is there enough built in memory to run the games ?

    Mine came with a 32meg stick. You need the stick.

    My PSP was used for watching films and music, rather than games, so had to buy ar larger - bought a 4GB stick
    GOOGLE it before you ask, you'll often save yourself a lot of time. ;)
  • Hi Jane, I don't think the PSP has any useable internal memory. You can still play games without the memory stick, but the children will not be able to save any of their progress in a certain game.

    For a quiet Christmas, I would suggest buying a couple of small cards. If you are thinking about using the PSP for music/video then only a large sized card will be of much use.

    You should still have time to order on-line as well.

    p.s. I think the PSP is better than the DS anyway. A good choice.

    thankyou , I guess I'll go ahead and order some , found some 2gb sony ones on play for £15.99 so It won't break the bank
