REJECTING GOODS

Hello, sorry if this goes on a bit.
Been diagnosed with hearing loss and didn't like my NHS hearing aids as I wanted ones that where less visible. As Scrivens did my hearing test at GPs I decided to use them for my in ear hearing aids.
I was fitted for the Starkey digital hearing aids last month. The total cost was £2995. I paid a £250 deposit by credit card with the balance on interest free credit ovet 9 months. With a 2 year gurantee. Also from when I got the hearing aids I had a peroid to return them for a full refund. This period has elapsed.
The hearing aids have been very disappointing. I have been back to Scrivens several times for adjustments. Then 3 weeks ago Scrivens finality admitted the hearing aids had developed a fault and they returned them to Starkey for repair. I have contacted Scrivens several times but keep getting told they aren't back yet.
I am totally fed up so can I contact Scrivens and reject these hearing aids quoting consumer law and get a refund. Thanks

You could try contacting the credit card company and/or the company giving you interest free credit. They are all jointly for any failure to supply a working set of hearing aids. Ask them for a refund and cancellation of the credit.
If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.1 -

Also, as mentioned, you do have protection via your credit card co and finance provider but they have to follow the same rules as regards your statutory rights.1 -
Thanks for all the advice. Realise am over the 30 days but still no sign of the hearing aids. Also I have now received a letter off Scrivens saying I have not signed my credit agreement, enclosing a new one to sign. Now I definitely signed one in the shop so was going to hold off signing this one until I get hearing aids back.
Also am I right in thinking if they go wrong again within 6 months I can request a refund. Also going to request a copy of the guarantee.0 -
Ps. I no longer have the NHS hearing aids in my pissesion0
