Gap between house and Annex

Hi folks, I purchased a house which has an attached annex, recently we've noticed some efflorescence in our living room which back onto the wall where the annex is connected. I've had a look outside and there's some gaps in the 2 walls between the 2 parts of the property. My question is, what's the best material to use to fill these gaps? At most I'd say they're about 15mm so they're not huge but want to see if I can get this sorted before investigating other issues for the efflorescence
Thanks in advance
