Hi,
I have a Starling UK Euro bank account, however it has a British "GB" IBAN. I now need a French (Euro) account with a French "FR" IBAN.
Can anyone who has managed to open a French bank account online i.e. without having to visit France, let me know which bank you used and if you are happy with the bank's service?
I tried BNP Paribas but their web site is not very user friendly.
Thanks in advance.

You could try https://www.britline.com
If all you need is an EU IBAN, https://wise.com/ has all the features of a bank account (debit card, SOs, DDs) but isn't a bank, so no deposit protection. Wise IBANs start with BE.1 -
Thanks Daliah.
Britline looks interesting, especially as it is appears to be part of the Credit Agricole group. I need to find out if they have depositor protection.
Wise is no go for me as I need a regulated bank.0 -
They sure have, like all EU banks, up to 100,000 Euros. https://www.britline.com/guarantee-fund-deposit-and-resolution.htmlaht said:
