    I have been having the same discussion with the Octopus Smart Meter Team. The gas proxy meter in my MNC comms hub doesn’t add the daily standing charge. Octopus has tried to argue that this is because my gas meter doesn’t add the standing charge until 23.59 hours. I pointed out that this might be true we’re it not for the fact that it is been going on now for 3 years and my gas meter has been changed in this time. Previously, I had L&G meters: the daily standing charge was also missing for gas. The only component not changed is the communications hub.
