Microsoft Outlook Upgrade email

I keep getting 'Upgrade Your Account' emails, supposedly from Microsoft Outlook.
When I open them I get mainly a blank screen and a link to learn more about premium features.
I never click on links in emails and I think this is a dodgy one. I'm getting one a day recently.
They are shown on my listing as 'a new type of add'.
Are they legit and anyway, how can I stop them?
Edit: Perhaps it looks like this because I'm using an add blocker?

Thanks. I've had a look at that link. No, my emails are not like that. I'll try taking a picture of the screens and will post later.0

Here are two images, cropped.
One shows the listing in Outlook and the other when I click on it. The words 'Get the latest premium Outlook Features' is a link. The words 'Learn More' is not.0 -
Are these emails "pinned" at the top of your others inbox emails?
You can see the "Ad" icon in your photo.
I have Outlook and for the past 2 weeks have been getting these "pinned" Ad emails but i think it's Microsoft's way of getting it's users to pay for the ads to be removed when you upgrade.1 -
No I don't believe any of my emails are 'pinned'.
I have the filter set to show All emails and sorted by date and newest on top. Nothing fancy.
When I hover over the email header, a little waste bin icon appears to the left of 'Ad'. This is the only way to get rid of those emails. Clicking on 'MO' opens the email whereas, with other emails, this is the way to mark emails for deletion.0 -

I may have said "pinned" but what i meant was are these email's at the top of your other emails?
I have an "Ad" email at the top of my emails, even the unread ones every time i go into Outlook.
I think this is a new way that Microsoft are sending ads to users as the ads used to be in right hand part of the web page.
There is a few threads on the Microsoft community forum site but there are not a lot of replies to these as maybe Microsoft don't want users to find a way of stopping this ad revenue for them.1 -
Ah yes, I see now. You are correct - the Ad email always stays at the top.
I understand now - it's a way to get around my ad blocker. I bet AdBlock will come up with a way to stop them eventually.
Thanks.0 -
I have had this "ad" for a few days now, I used the element picker in Ublock Origin and "blocked" the entire line and for now its not showing (fingers crossed). It may come back but it works for me, for now.0
