For those that are planning to park at Birmingham airport, they seem to have increased their prices by £40, i have been keeping an eye on the prices as i am going away in October, last week the cost for 4 days was £67.99 today its £107.99. (carpark 1) yesterday it was £87.99. not sure why the sudden increase.

The increase is likely to be based on a combination of current booking level and time before departure date. I've seen similar in the past when I've been checking prices at Brum. I have just checked an see the same price as the OP.

Think it's booking level as I checked before and it went up when less than 3 months before departure0

I travel from BHX regularly. And book generally two or three weeks before I fly, parking has been pretty consistent for years. I travelled a couple of weeks ago and paid £54 for 2 days in CP1. I’ve just booked the same 48hr period for two different trips in June, and the cost now is £98! 70% increase!! I’ve never seen such a one off increase in over 5 years of regular travel (pandemic obviously slowed that down a bit). In 2019 I made 36 return flights out of BHX. So am used to seasonal variations. This increase is absolute robbery!0

You could park at the train station at Birmingham International and walk across.Circa £12 per day, £6 at weekensAlternatively some train stations with a very small journey offer very good daily rates or even freeMarston Green is an example - £3 per day I think it is0
