Center Parcs Again!

Hi everyone,
I'm sure this gets asked lots but couldn't find a recent thread. Does anyone have a discount code or any tips for cheaper deals whilst at centre parcs? We are looking at a last minute break in the next week or two and anything to help reduce the price either of the booking or the activities would be amazing. Or for any tips whilst there - I know we need to book pretty much everything! Hoping most things will be open now even if it is before the summer holidays, has anyone recently been that can confirm this? So annoying that they aren't more transparent through the booking process.
Thanks

I should say we are a family of 4 including 2 toddlers so already checked on the swimming availability!
  • Each location has different policies in place currently - which one are you going to?

I've never found any discounts previously, either in the original booking or when you are there. But if anyone else knows of any I'd be interested!

The big money saver in my opinion is avoid eating out where possible, prices are extortionate is some places. Try and avoid the local onsite supermarket as well for the same reason. Find a local big supermarket and go there, you can unpack your car (think lodges open 3.30/4 from memory) then one of you can pop to the shops (assuming you don't shop beforehand!).

Thank you, we are looking at Whinfell, we're going to do a big shop on the way and maybe eat out once or twice - if we can get booked in! Although I'm looking forward to a trip to Booths as much as the holiday!

  • yeah, were going there at the end of this month. we've eating out a couple of nights and have booked those already as there was limited space a couple of months ago when we looked. Suggest you plan what your doing each day and get booking.

You need to book the swimming (pre 6pm) so suggest you get that don if you've not already done so. When we looked all the peak slots were fully booked, so we booked lower peak times and will be doing other activities outdoors and hope the weather holds up!

I see you have toddlers - are you taking your own bikes? If not, suggest you order one with a trailer to rent whilst your there. If your are anything like our they'll love being towed around!
  • Hiya yes, aware we need to book everything in advance and got the things we want to do sorted. It was more if someone had a discount code for booking/ activities (you used to be able to get combo deals but doesnt look like they do these at the mo) or if someone knew of a local bike hire place rather than using the onsite one but it appears centre parcs bike hire is actually good value for money compared to others! Everything we have wanted to do is still available so happy days!

If you can bring your own equipment (rackets ect) that can make the activates a bit cheaper.
