National Lottery Debit Card security

My online National Lottery account allows me to add or withdraw funds needed to play Games. I simply click a few buttons and it's done.
Beyond a knowledge of my Bank Account number and Sort Code there's no secondary security measure like requesting my Security Number each time or a time-limited code sent by SMS.
I have good password security regarding my online bank, yet anyone who could hack my Lottery account could seemingly gain full access to my entire bank account.
For example, they could add the entire contents of my current account to my Lottery account, change the bank account details to their own, then withdraw the proceeds.
I only use my laptop for bank account access and no bank or lottery account details are stored on it. But seemingly full access to my bank account is stored within my online Lottery account which is worrying.
For the time being I've deleted my Lottery account and will buy tickets over the counter.
Should I be concerned about this ?

I think you are confused. There is no such thing as a security code for payments made just with a sort code and bank account number. If the national lottery only has your bank details, then it's direct debit to play periodically and pay money won.
If you add money to the National Lottery when you want to play (on demand), then they have some debit cards details from you already saved, and your bank will decide whether a code is required or not. If it's frequent transactions from the same vendor, the bank might decide a code is not required.
If someone was stealing your login details, they could add money to your account indeed and play games, but you would be the winner.
If you don't want someone to be able to add more than a specific amount (e.g. max £10 per week), the site has got settings for that.2 -
