Exit Fees
Just received notice of our EDF fixed tariff ending along with renewal costs (estimated).
currently paying £113 per month for dual fuel, not surprised to see the estimated variable rate of £224 per month with a fixed offer at £312 but the exit fee is also moving from £30 per fuel to £150 per fuel !!

I also have no idea what anybody can do against it, the supplier and the customer are taking both a gamble on the price, and the supplier wants to avoid the customer just cutting his losses when he loses and the price goes down. I don't know of any law that says they cannot charge high exit fees, nobody is forcing anybody to take a deal if they don't like it.
