    As for "Advocate", in my student's days we did it ourself. It's just egg yolks beaten with sugar (+vanilla), then you add alcohol. And it tasted as good as the one from the shops...
    If I wanted a snowball recipe', I'd Google it. :D

    Kindergarten. Not in UK. But fashion (for drinks) is fashion. This "snowball" somehow did not spread far. I would probably pick it up if it was around in my student days.
