First Direct Switching Incentive

Hello,
I am thinking to switch to First Direct to take advantage of the £150 incentive.
I have read through the details and they don't appear to require direct debits to be on the donor account.
Can anyone please confirm if this is correct?
Also I understand the switching offer is only for those that have never had a First Direct account before.
I suspect I had a First Direct for a very short time maybe 20 years ago.
Would this prevent me from getting the switching incentive? Even though it was so long ago?
Thank you for any help and replies.

Thank you for any help and replies. However, I agree with @eskbanker. FD (& HSBC) have very long memories. Might be worth a try if you’re not sure about having an account in the past?1
