            Morning everyone
Sunny start here but very windy. We had torrential showers yesterday afternoon and evening with bright sunshine in between. In one of the in-between bits I went out and rescued little ones 'beanstalk' she planted a nursery...it has grown really tall.
She's coming up for her tea and a play after nursery today...so that will be entertaining!
I'll go down to mam and dads this morning for a cuppa and then down to work at lunchtime.
Snoozer - hope Steve gets well soon. I know what you mean...little one loves to 'help' with everything!
Scarlet - enjoy your shopping trip
TA - enjoy your day out too
Redruby - good news that your mum is a bit better
Everyone else - have a good day x
Must get some jobs done11 -

Hello all we have rain !! Don't think it's rained properly for about a month so the gardens will be happy. I was a good girl yesterday and my meal out was grilled salmon, new potatoes and salad, it was lovely and fresh and I averted the calorific chips as my diet halo had slipped quite a bit lately. Dad however was not on his best behaviour and complained about the price of everything loudly to everyone he could corner, I found it embarrassing and I was close to losing my temper over some things he said to me, so it will be a while before we take him again 😬 I did bump into an old friend, we met when our children were starting playschool, so we had a quick catch up and then later Mr Fix It saved a ladies purse, seems she had left it on the restaurant table so he went after her and returned it.
Today I have a few small tasks that need addressing then it will be a quiet day reading or carrying on with my jigsaw.
Hope everyone has as good a day as possible
Take care and hugs to all.
nan xx
Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently10 -
Morning all. The weather here today is dull and it may well rain at some point, but feeling mild at least.
The council grass cutter came early doors this morning, quickly followed by the chap with the blower. I think our area must be first on their rota as they always seem to come at some ungodly hour - well, it is to me, I'm not an early riser! I managed to squeeze another hour's slumber before getting up and since then don't seem to have achieved much.
My guag has definitely gone somewhere and I could do with it coming back.
I think today could involve gentle pottering doing some of those small tasks that seem to get overlooked. At least I'll feel as if I've done something and the To Do list will be a bit shorter.
I have a carrier bag of baby knitteds ready to go to the local hospice at some point (probably one day next week) as well as the one of empty glass jars for the bottle bank. One journey, two bags out of the door, yippee! And I could call in at the opticians to make an appointment for an eye test as that's on the route.
Glad to hear your DM's a bit better, Ruby.
Happy day out with your buddies, TA. Best wishes to your chum who sounds very positive about her upcoming treatment.
Commiserations, Izzy - hubbies can be a real PITA at times.
Right, must summon up some energy and enthusiasm and get a wriggle on with "stuff". Happy Wednesday. XBe kind to others and to yourself too.9
