Ripped off by Etsy seller- anything else I can do?

So this might be a bit niche, but hopefully you'll catch my drift here. I wanted a new set of synthetic dreadlocks to attach to my own natural ones which are quite slim. Because of this the new set also needed to be slim otherwise they wouldn't be usable( the weight of them would just pull them straight back out basically as you attach them by rubber bands to your own natural ones). I contacted the Etsy seller before purchase and asked very specifically if she made a set for me,would they be suitable? She said absolutely yes. I paid £210. She sent me picture updates ,4 further times I voiced concerns that they were looking too thick, she kept reassuring me they'd be fine. Long story short, they arrived ,they were much too thick and unusable. Etsy won't make her refund me because they arrived( even though they are useless). The seller is no help at all,and won't budge on a refund. Is there anything else at all I can do to recoup my money?
Thanks for reading and any advice

I suspect the problem is that ‘heavy/thick’ is subjective, OP did you specific a weight or a thickness, did you send photos and drawings or specifications saying exactly what you wanted?

I don't see how you were "ripped off" - you ordered an item, you were provided with an item. The item may not have been made how you wanted, or of good quality (in terms of matching your requirements), but you did receive what you ordered.0

E.g. usually for custom orders you would put in writing exactly what you need e.g slim dreadlocks with a diameter of no more than 10mm.
Size is subjective so you need to prove that the seller has not made what you asked for. "Slim" could be so different depending on the person's interpretation.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)1
