Flexi-Orb v MCS for SEG

I have had a solar PV system installed with Flexi-Orb certification. Some energy companies accept Flexi-Orb when applying for SEG payments (that is, being paid for putting energy back to the grid), many however do not and insist on MCS certification (most notably, Octopus).

Is there a way, I can have my installation signed off by an MCS accredited person and gain an MCS certificate?

I do not believe that is possible as the MCS process requires that the installation and commissioning is conducted by a company, and using products, certified to their standards.
