I have now - Thanks @KeithP!
More anxious that I've overlooked something key and get caught out. But I suppose this is normal pre-court nervousness.
Re-reading information from the court regarding the hearing they say:"The Claimant must prepare a digital bundle in .pdf format containing all relevant documents and must file it atCourt by email and send copies to the parties no later than 48 hours before the hearing."
I've not received any bundles from the Claimant.. is this normal? From past court experience (Non PPC Related) the bundle was provided which had both the Claimant and Defendants statements together in a PDF. Should Gladstones have done this?0 -

Maybe they discontinued and failed to tell you.
Is this an in-person hearing?
If you turn up and are told that the case is not listed because it has been discontinued, if you've spent money on the case and/or took a day's leave for this hearing, DO NOT go home.
Politely tell the Usher that you'd like ten minutes to discuss your wasted costs with the Judge, because you were not informed by the Claimant.

@Coupon-mad Thank you.
This is a telephone hearing, schedule for 1200 today. I'll dial in on time and see what happens, I suppose.Coupon-mad said:Pretty sure this is covered in the NEWBIES thread with an example link to the thread by @bluetoffee1878
Yes, it is. I've read up on this so I'll be prepared for that scenario!

Afternoon all,
I'm fresh off the phone with the county court of Bournemouth.
Unfortunately this didn't go my way. Gladstones had nobody representing them, so it was just me and the judge.
The findings were:
The judge determined there was no Breach of POFA.
He determined that, although there are different versions of the signs, they allude to the same thing and are reasonably clear.
He didn't believe an in-house permit system would be relevant to residency contracts and have any involvement with a Visitors car park.
Finally he determined the claimant had relevant Landowners Authority.
He did not award 8% interest or any admin fee's, deeming them punitive.
He did, however, award a 0.5% Interest rate (Which amounts to 11p).
In his summary he advised the car I was registered keeper of is clearly seen in a parking bay with a signage around the site and no permit on display and therefore I'm liable.
Bit disappointed but we move on
Regardless - massive thank you to everyone who helped me out with this. Appreciate your time and efforts tremendously.
@Coupon-mad @KeithP especially as frequent advice-givers!

Ahhh... never mind, nothing you did wrong here. If the Judge determines all the issues and mainly decides that the signage was clear, then sometimes the best you can do is get the interest and false £70 removed.
And you got that.
Can't say I agree with him about his view of permit systems AND it doesn't sound like he considered the 'test of fairness' of the contract (as the CRA 2015 makes a duty on courts to do) but these cases are too expensive to appeal (no guarantee to get anywhere either) so move on and be happy that you cost them a lot more, and that you can get your revenge as follows:
We sincerely hope you are au fait with the need to respond to the final Govt Public Consultation?
Hopefully - amongst all the political disruption - it will be open later this year.
We all need to ram the nail in the coffin of the false £70 'DRA fee' add-on, that actually funds the court claim and toxic CCJ culture, as well as the DRA gaslighting of people.
If PPCs manage to turn around the decision on banning the gaslighting / claim-funding 'fees' then the DLUHC will be rubber-stamping £200 parking charges and if that happens, they (Government) and the PPCs will wreck high streets and people's lives. Whoever is responsible, if that happens (and it very nearly did in 2021) must hang their heads in shame.
Just checking you are among those ready to respond to the questions as you have personal experience of how this crap feels?
Please come back here when it opens, and you can make sure you don't miss the Consultation:

Absolutely.
Bookmarked and notifications on - I shall look forward to it.
Thanks again for all your help; I know I've said this before but fully appreciate this is something you all do in your free time. Incredible amounts of time and patience helping strangers on the internet stand up for themselves against these predatory sharks.
Keep up the good work! I'll endeavour to stay pop-in and help newbies with the various bit's and pieces I've picked up during this experience!1
