Reading my meter readings online via smart meter
I have 2 holiday lets and need to be able to access my meter readings without going to the houses so I can bill the guests for energy used. I have a smart meter which was installed by British Gas, so can I see my meter readings daily using my account online or the BG App. I am with Eon-next and they cannot give me that option.

Install the Bright app by Hildebrand Technology Ltd on your phone. This will allow you to see the daily usage and cost (inc standing charges) but not the actual meter readings however.0

The half-hour data and the daily register snap-shots are retrieved from different datastores on the meter, most suppliers will give you online access to the half-hour data, very few give you access to the daily meter snapshots. But for your purposes you can easily work out the usage to charge based on the half-hour data, although I do understand it is a little more work.0
