I wanted to add my Chase Bank Account details to my Tesco Pay+ Account but you can't as Chase doesn't support open banking.

The OP is talking about  Tesco ClubCard Pay+, which is very different to Tesco Pay+.
  • Not much point in adding a Chase card to Tesco Pay+ as you will not get your 1% cash back from Chase that way.

The only supported wallets for cashback from Chase are Apple and Google.

Just scan your Clubcard to get the Tesco points and then pay with Chase, either with the card or using the two supported wallets.

As @BarGin has posted above, you can actually use your Chase card with Tesco Pay+, which to all intents and purposes is a wallet, as it can contain several cards (such as, for instance, the Tesco Clubcard Pay+ card, or any VISA or Mastercard). It's only really of use in Tesco - but it saves you carrying the Tesco Clubcard, as all you need to do is register the Clubcard to Tesco Pay+, and you get your points automatically every time you pay with Tesco Pay+. You get the Curve cashback when paying via Tesco Pay+.

You also get Chase cashback when paying with a Curve card, which again is a wallet.

You can add the card to wallets, but you will not get the dosh !

@daliah, straight from the Chase web page.

Will I receive cashback if I use a third-party wallet?

We only support Apple and Google Pay. All other third-party wallets are not supported.

Never mind what Chase say.  I have been getting Chase cashback without fail since last September via Curve and Tesco Pay+.

Just found the answer to my question so I've deleted this

Perhaps you could repeat the question - as there's no point whatsoever in deleting it as it is useful to others (unless you take your user name to extremes), and anyway the thread is carrying on regardless.

Were you asking about Tesco Clubcard Pay + or Tesco Pay +?  One is a debit card the other is a wallet.  Most answers relate to the wallet, but Daliah, above, suggests your enquiry was about the debit card.  It would be useful to know which, and what the issue was.

Edit: I see you did elaborate afterwards and said it was Pay +.  So ignore this post!
