Could you build a big container behind the tree where your bins are just to get them out the way, go up to 2mispookie666 said:

Paint the outside black it will disappear behind the tree
My regular leaf machine chops up on suck mode when dryish it was cheap ~£50.
I add some to my worm composting bin with the veg waste but will never have as many as you.

There are two largish compost bin just behind the tree. Might add a few more.

I bought a Viking GE 355 shredder (similar to stihl) - Was able to shed around 5 builders bag full of leaves and half a bag full of conckers. A bit slower with damp/wet leaves and only got stuck once.“Don't raise your voice, improve your argument." - Desmond Tutu

I would build a big container under the tree as suggested, just throw them in without shredding or need to move them around. I made such a construction with old wooden pallets, free, should be good for such large leaves.

@eDicky I'd love to but given that I had 5 builders bag (1000L) full of leaves, not sure how this will work out!“Don't raise your voice, improve your argument." - Desmond Tutu

A tree surgeon would charge you upwards of £500 to have a go at topping and shaping but would help you in the first few years of cleaning up abundant amounts of leaves.0
