Bathroom paint colour ideas

Hi
I’m at the painting stage of my bathroom project and not too sure of what colour scheme to go with.
It’s a blank canvas really and the units will be white.
The PVC cladding for the shower area will possibly be grey and floor too.
There won’t be any other tiling or cladding needed other than basin splash back so it’s paint all round.
Going with Dulux bathroom.
Any ideas appreciated.

I'd stick with white.
That way you can easily change the colour scheme as often as you want by using different coloured towels & accessories.3 -
This is what I’ve done in mine. Need to sort out the flooring and putting a black edged mirror above the vanity unit

Hoorah, someone who's not afraid of colour...love your choice 😀GlasgowExpat2 said:

We chose F&B Setting Plaster for ours a few years back, but then we're bold maximalists who also have wildly coloured porcelain floor tiles, lol! Actually I now fancy a change in wall colour (we're planning to use Setting Plaster in the kitchen and don't want it everywhere 🙄) and have been considering a saturated yellow myself.
In our soon-to-be-created cloakroom we'll be having black walls 😉
What kind of colours do you like generally, OP? And are you looking for a restful space or somewhere vibrant to wake yourself up?1 -
I’m also in the middle of a bathroom renovation (among other rooms) so I appreciate how difficult it is to pick colours! We’ve gone for a dark blue panelling with white on the walls above and also on the ceiling. Brass fittings.
Ultimately your colour choice is a very personal decision. As long as you’re happy with it that’s all that really matters, unless you plan to sell anytime soon. Definitely get some samples though.

I think light colour rather than bold and vibrant. Wouldn’t want it too dark when there’s no natural light.liberty_lily said:What kind of colours do you like generally, OP? And are you looking for a restful space or somewhere vibrant to wake yourself up?
I’m not adventurous enough to go with anything fancy so even white walls and grey wet area/floor would be fine. Anything new and fresh as it was a real state before I started.
A common theme these days with interior decorating seems to be neutral colours so sort of playing it safe.0 -
That looks great.GlasgowExpat2 said:

I need to put in skirting but was thinking floor first.
Like the basin idea. I could do with some storage and some of the traditional pedestal sinks are huge with not much capacity.0 -
What type of floor are you going with?0

We used Dulux bathroom Jasmine White. Nice and bright, but not as stark as white.1
