Current price cap period (1 April - 30 September 2022) | ||
|---|---|---|
| Electric |
| £0.28 per kWh Daily standing charge: £0.45 |
| Gas |
| £0.07 per kWh Daily standing charge: £0.27 |
Why then am I paying £0.2845 per kWh and £0.0748 per kWh
Surely Octopus should follow the price cap rules ?
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.

They are following the rules, the cap varies by region and the figures you show as the cap are rounded off.MouldyOldDough said:Current price cap period

You can find an explanation, and a table of regional variations, at the link in my signature.

I am paying the same amount, I have gone from £106 a month in Jan to £271 April

I need to get my solar panels fitted quickly and hopefully I've fixed the automation on my solar hot water and boiler to reduce the costs1 -
