You're not the first person to ask this question, there's other threads too. The extra money will show in payment dates from 17th May. Some won't see it until June payment.Same thread here. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6353808/universal-credit-april-rise#latest

That is ridiculous. They ought to know. The rules are clear, applied to assessment periods starting on or after 11th April.Changeplease said:..on telephoning UC their agent has told me that this increase has not been put on for lots of people due to the government not adding a start date in the system and they don’t know l when it will start!!!!

Much easier to lump the blame on to a Government than to admit they don't know.

(p) article 33, in so far as it relates to a particular beneficiary, on the first day of the first assessment period to commence for that beneficiary on or after 11th April 2022, and for the purpose of this sub-paragraph “assessment period” has the same meaning as in section 7(2) of the Welfare Reform Act 2012;

DMs can find the new rates in the benefit uprating schedule and benefit desk aids and should bear them in mind when reading examples in the ADM that contain benefit rates.I assume staff are supposed to read these memorandums.

UC telephony is currently going to outsourced telephony agents with little or no UC training as far as I can tell. About all they are empowered to do is take a message and send a handover to the Case Manager to either call the customer back or reply on the journal. I'm not sure when Case Managers will resume telephony services but the quality of service delivery is definitely suffering as a result.Our green credentials: 12kW Samsung ASHP for heating, 7.2kWp Solar (South facing), Tesla Powerwall 3 (13.5kWh), Net exporter0
