South Bank to Chelsea Stadium

I'm going to London site seeing next month and will be in the general area of Tower Bridge, Buckingham palace, big Ben ect but also Chelsea football Stadium tour and arriving at Waterloo.

I'm bringing two football mad 16 year olds with me but can go to the Stadium any time before 4 PM  what would be the best way to plan our day and easiest way to get to the Stadium ?

Get off before you reach Waterloo at Clapham Junction station, walk across the bridge to Platform 1 and take the London Overground line 2 stops to West Brompton. Turn left outside the station and then take the first road on the left, Seagrave Road, the stadium is on the left-hand side 5 minutes walk away.

When you have finished, walk towards Fulham Road, turn right and you will find Fulham Broadway underground station on your right. This is on the District line which will take you to Tower Hill for Tower Bridge/ The Tower of London, or Victoria for Buckingham Palace. The Tower is at the opposite end of town to Buckingham Palace and Westminster so it depends on how long you spend in Chelsea and how long at the Tower as to how much more you can achieve.

You can catch the district line (or Circle) back to Westminster for Big Ben from Tower Hill or stay on to Victoria if that is the order you want to take.
