Pay Pal failed account verification

I have bought items on e-bay for many years using a Pay-Pal account, all worked fine but suddenly my PayPal account has been blocked, I have tried to send photo I.D. etc to resolve this but cannot get this past the Pay-Pal system. It seems very strange that Pay-Pal are so readily prepared to lose loyal customers. Anyway the result is that I am refused a Pay-Pal account but have a credit card with a major UK Bank, is it OK to simply use my credit card for e-bay purchases?

Thanks to eBay managed payments, you do not have to have a PayPal account to make or receive payments via eBay0

Hi, if you click on 'Help and contact' at the top of your eBay page and type in 'Paying for items with a credit or debit card' it says that most sellers accept cards and that info should usually be indicated on their listing. At some point, eBay is going to stop payments via PayPal anyway. So they keep saying!
If I were you though, I'd want to find out why PayPal has suddenly stopped my account. Especially, as you say, you've been a loyal user. Seems very unfair. Please note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts.
