    My concern is these are questions we have provided answers to already, with documentation, three months ago.

    But that's not true. The documents provided only answered one of the questions. 

    You owning the property since 2016 doesn't change the other side asking for the Deed. The fact you didn't know that doesn't mean your Solicitor is incompetent for asking if you had it. If anything they're saving you money by asking you if you have it instead of spending money obtaining a copy from the Land Registry at your cost.

    Okay it should be two years but as far as the other side know you bought the property in 2020. It's not an unusual question to ask why you'd be selling so quickly.

    Solicitors are dealing with many clients concurrently. Forwarding on an email of questions is the easiest way of dealing with matters. As should only take you a couple of minutes to respond. Matter dealt with. The world would grind to a halt if everything resulted in the Spanish inquisition. With time simply being spent unproductively.
