Does anyone know who actually issues fines at Man Air? Was told by a parking warden they are going to fine me for picking up a disabled woman in a no stopping area who couldn't speak English.
There are legitimate reasons why I was stopped for around 30 seconds and can prove I paid for parking earlier that day and after too...so wasn't avoiding any parking charge but merely not expecting a wheelchair user to spend 20 mins going to the 5th level of a multi story.

Dunno... could be VCS or APCOA but very easy to appeal (esp. APCOA) as long as you don't say who was driving.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

We have never, to my knowledge, seen any previous Manchester Airport 'no stopping' cases - although plenty from almost every other airport in the country. Perhaps it won't be long before Manchester joins the gravy train - they're coining-in in every other respect - trolleys, car park park entry/exit, drop offs, fast-track security - outbound and inbound. If there's a pound to be made, Manc want two!
If they've now got a 'no stopping' scammer operating there, you will soon find out who they are. How long since the incident? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

These Airports are a joke anyway, and it's time they got regulated, charging 5 - 9 quid for 30 seconds is outrageous in current times!0 -

C) Is it the parking warden, the disabled woman or the no stopping area that couldn't speak English? The warden said 'you'll be getting a fine in the post' so I presume MAG.
C) The Parking warden who is working for MAG I guess seeing he said it 😆.
But yeah I see what you did there 😉.0 -
If there is a patrol in a car, did they stop their car in order to be able to speak to you? If so, they broke their own rules!2

1 If the parking Flunky "told you" he was going to fine you presumably he was near enough to hand you a ticket but didn't maybe this jobsworth was just winding you up (successfully) a pastime some idiots enjoy.2 Why don't you wait until you see if something comes in the post and come back when you have the full facts.3 We don't see this site on here very much you may never hear anything.4 Yes airport parking is extortionate everyone knows that but it's their land their pricing there are no regulations on parking charges no more than there are on the price of a TV at John Lewis.5 The fact that you paid for parking earlier won't make any difference at all to this incident, they will just chant the mantra that the parking terms and conditions or if under bye-laws regulations are clearly displayed, even if they are not, it would be up to you to show otherwise.6 They have defined disabled parking places and these are described here maybe do a little more research in future it might save some hassle:

Fisherman, all valid points but when you are picking up a woman who is clearly struggling to walk and read English ( as she was foreign) it becomes hard to tell her to go to floor 3 nevermind walk the distance, there ARE acceptions here and some of the people are reasonable and understanding at Airports, my point was that on this occasion this jobsworth wasn't interested in anything but feeling more 'elite' then you and seemed to enjoy the power of authority he thinks he had...nothing I said held no baring on this rotten attitude - this is now the case in a lot of places I feel, we live in a country that just wants to find a way to scam you in every way!
Nothing through the post yet but if I do get anything through I feel my case would be strong, but it's now just over 14 days ago including weekends.
