Virgin Money - full balance payment error

Just a heads up for anyone paying their VM credit card balance in full each month.

A friend was telling me she incurred an interest payment recently and rang to query. The advisor said it was because the full balance had not been cleared in recent months and that was why the interest had been incurred. When asking how she could have not paid in full the advisor said there had been a system error and although the DD instruction was for the full balance, there was an internal setting that caused this not to be taken.
On this basis all interest payments would be refunded, but it may be worth checking if you have had a similar problem with a VM, or any other cards…
