Sofa extreme pilling issue

I bought two sofas from Clayton's Carpets, Delivered November. They started pulling very early.  I contacted them after new year holidays (6 weeks old at this time), to tell them.  They sent out a Homeserve guy who told me as soon as he entered the room it wasn't a manufacturing issue so it was not their problem. He told me I should have been warned. He'd seen others the same.  He wrote two lines on a report and left.  I was totally fobbed off.  I complained again, they sent me a tool to debobble.  I am disabled so this is out of the question, it's appearing on any bit of the sofa that has friction.  If I put a hole in the fabric my guarantee is over. It's been five months now and it's a mess. I've reached out to the manufacturer Buoyant as them saying it's tested at low pilling has made Clayton's not engage with me. They basically said  tough.  It looks like it's years old.  Nobody will help me.  They have just said it's not a manufacturing fault so end of story. I have now contacted companies to help get the fabric tested but I have been told it's very expensive and will leave me with a piece of fabric missing. People comment on it, it's so bad.  It's only me who sits on it as my husband has his own chair.  I can't tell you how utterly depressed I feel as I'm here watching it get worse day by day.  I bought it online and was not told it would be like this. They employ Homeserve to fob you off, I read another lady having the same issue with Homeserve and another sofa company. It was exactly my experience word for word. They say it's caused by sitting on it. Not a joke they were his words. Homeserve are not independent.  Now I'm going to have to face the costs of having it independently tested to go to the court and this is completely depressing me. I'm at my wit's end.  Any help please.  Its the costs that I'm now facing to get to court that's an issue.  Any help would be gratefully received
