British Gas Homecare excess for callout

I had a leak in my kitchen which we think was from the radiator, which magically stopped all of a sudden the day before the engineer turned up from Dyno. We thought we would get them to come out and have a look but he couldn't find any issue so was gone within 5-10 mins. Now I've had an invoice from British Gas despite no repair or work being carried out - am I being ripped off here? I have never seen anything about a call-out charge and Dyno specifically says no call out charges!

Hi this may help you a bit may need to check what type of cover you took out.
HomeCare cover offers four levels of service and support for your home,
named HomeCare One, Two, Three and Four.
An important thing to note about British Gas HomeCare pricing is that what you pay depends on where you live and whether you choose to include an excess in your cover.

As per their T&C they are charging the excess only for repairs or replacements.
What does the report from the engineer show what has been done?0 -
Dyno will be acting as contractors to HomeCare - what they charge HomeCare is between them and HomeCareNever pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0
