Solar panels - quest

Hi,

I had solar panels installed (as part of the IKEA offer) and they are fantastic... really helping keep the cost down.

I am trying to get some more installed and also trying to get a solar immersion heater installed for my boiler, but I have contacted 10 companies and either they don't reply or the two replied and said they were too busy.  

Any ideas???   I live in Brighton

You may find it hard to find any installers at the moment.

There's no such thing as a "solar immersion heater" so perhaps that is putting some installers off?   You probably mean a solar diverter for your existing immersion heater?  If so any decent electrician should be able to fit one.

Just an observation, talking to a local electrician , LOTS of people have been expressing an interest in fitting panels and batteries after he did a local installation, - he is swamped to the point that he isn't taking any standard electrical work !!!
