Other peoples mail, Open letters and Mail arriving at 7pm at night

I'm really sick of Royal Mail, we are currently getting a dreadful Service from Royal Mail. If we have't got someone elses mail, its open already or appears late at night after being delivered elsewhere. The best one was last week, when not only did we get someone elses mail, Ours arrived opened at 7.30 at night. I have had need to complain on a weekly basis using their website and all I get in return is we will pass your comments on to the Depot. This time I have phoned them and they are now going to investigate, because of my multiple complains, if they'd looked into this when I 1st started to complain it would be sorted by now.

You are lucky to get it at 7.30 at night. Ours is very often 'lost' and simply doesn't arrive! Agree with you generally -- it's a diabolical 'service' you get when you try to complain.

i never got my ccard statement last month got it today , 20pound late payment fee well annoyed especially when its down to mail not being delivered.

If you recieved mail at 7.30pm I would think a neighbour had recieved it by mistake and dropped it round themselves (unless you saw the post man).

We used to get lots of mail addressed for our neighbours. It quickly stopped when instead of dropping it round, I started writing "Delivered to wrong address, please redeliver" and putting it back in the post box. I guess one of the managers spotted all the misdelivered mail, the postie got a warning, and now he's being more careful at putting it through the right doors.

we are also having terrible probs with posties as well at the minute.

the fact that the post doesnt arrive til god knows when is annoying (at least we get it i suppose), but if there is a parcel (be it an ebay purchase, dvd or whatever), it is left outside the front door in plain view of the whole world. half the time the postie doent even ring the bell to see if anyone is in, just dumps it there, rather than god forbid have to take it back to depot where it can be held safely until someone can pick it up. we could be on holiday for all he knew. would all our abandoned parcels be there waiting for us on our return? not in our area....

We get teh Roayl Mail postie, parking outside our house at 6am, with the engine running and radio on so loud!!! then half our mail goes to another address, and any parcels are just returned without even a note left!! The Royal Mail shouldbe ashamed of itself and its employees. there was a time when the postie actually cared, but you cant blame them, blame the system..
