my fixed rate energy bill is ending and DD is increasing by £200 per month

Hi I'm with British Gas for gas and electricity. The fixed rate is now ending towards the middle of this month......the new DD is increasing by over £200 per month!!

    I'm sure that there was no shortage of like minded people as at the 31st March. 

    If the cost is a concern. Time to focus on your usage.

    The problem is that your SVR DD will increase unfavourably because of your deemed usage!
    I work from home so my cat can be fed on demand!

    I take it your original post stated something like giving an inflated reading for 31st March. 

    Lots mentioned that in March on the forum.

    Anyway hopefully you just rolled.over to the standard variable rate or fixed with a rate as close to the current price cap as possible.to.lessen.the blow?

    Yes just rolled it over to the SVR and gave an accurate reading..........

    What was the previous DD amount they were taking ?

    You need to actually do your sums, find out if you are in credit or debit then work out you annual charges based on the new tariff and annual consumption.

    My bills will more than double when I fall off my fix.
