Pipe work and inspection chamber - new build

I’m buying a new build house that has small inspection chamber on one side of the garden. The site manager explained that it’s the foul pipe and drainage under the ground from another two larger properties behind that goes through the garden and down underneath the street. Is there anything I need to check before I move forward with buying the property please? He said it might never need checking or access to it?
Would there be any potential problems with this?
I’m not sure what information to ask for from the building company regarding this or whether a survey or any kind of check is needed. The new build company have said no survey needed.
Thanks in advance
Thanks in advance

If it's a new estate you should be okay that it's all new and should be done properly.
The only limitation on your garden would be don't build a shed over one of the inspection chambers as one day somebody might need access to them.1 -

Thanks in advanceYou need to find out whether the drains are being adopted, and when that will happen if it hasn't already. If they are/become public sewers then you'll be limited in what you can do over/near them and may need a build over agreement. If they aren't going to become public sewers or there is no clear timetable to adoption, then I would want a legal agreement in place regarding liability, maintenance, and future replacement.1
