Self Employed Carer Liability Insurance

Hi - does anyone have any suggestions for providers of Liability insurance for self employed carers?  "Simply Business" who seem to be on all the comparison sites no longer cover the care sector.  SB suggested Biba who say that their brokers require carers to be CQC registered in order to quote.  Any thoughts??

No, but my answer to all tricky insurance questions is always "find a broker and phone them."

You probably need a broker who specialises in this sector.  These brokers rarely advertise on the internet, but sometimes advertise in the journal that related to a particular sector.

Asking around other carers is obviously the best way, but that is usually not an option as self-employed can mean that you are fending for yourself.
