Last December I altered my virgin package which resulted in them sending me out a free 02 sim. I didn’t need it as I have 5 contracts with 02 as it is and returned the sim and changed my package again.
In march, I noticed that my credit report had dropped so I contacted Experian who told me it was an unpaid 02 bill.
I then contacted 02 who apologised and told me it would be cancelled.
Yesterday I received a debt letter from Lowell along with a letter from 02 informing that they have sold the debt.
I have contacted Lowell who have been very helpful and are querying this.
I have contacted 02 again, but now can’t talk to me about the account as I don’t have any security checks for it as I didn’t set it up.
I then contacted Virgin who have said that as it’s 02, they can’t help.
Has anyone else had any of this and can give advice?
