How do i get british gas to amended credit file - is there a phone number or specific email to use?

It'll probably depend on the circumstances - if you have some sort of dispute with them then you'd need to resolve that via their customer services complaints department, but if there's some undisputed data error then that may be correctable via their data protection office?

If you're querying why there are 2 open accounts that's standard for British gas as I have one for gas and one for electricity they are also spot on with their monthly updates always pretty much the same date.i have a smart meter and pay for whatever has been used that month so its always £0 if you're doing estimated readings and a set monthly direct debit it may never be exactly correct.
