EON have now changed to Eon Next, I pay by DD from when i first moved in April 2021 they calculated I required to pay £49.00 per month, by 4.1.22 I was in debt by £111.81, so they recalculated my DD to £156.00 per month !!!, I give monthly meter readings my latest bill as of 3.5.22 I am now £512.19 in credit! I contacted Eon Next, but have been told they cannot do anything until the 11th May as they are waiting for customers details to be transferred from EON to Eon Next! confused I am, are they not the same company? How can they raise the DD so high as to take my money and it sits in their bank, while I'm struggling to pay other bills!! This is so wrong by the energy firms. I live in a flat and currently have 3 meter reading, EON next have confirmed they will change my meter to just 1 meter and it will be a smart meter all free of charge, which is some consolation, but I can see why they can afford to do this, they have all their customers money by overcharging!!!!!!!!!
