parking fines - going to court?

Hello all
Initially I received a reminder of fine letter from GXS services, I went to appeal on the website but it would not allow me to. Instead I emailed them to explain that I had not received the initial parking charge letter as well as the reasons for appeal. My baby was screaming in the back and we pulled over to feed, we did not leave the car, i am sure we had parked here before and there were no paring restrictions so I assumed it was the same and we didn't see any signs. They ignored my reasons, attached a letter with the notice to keeper that was apparently sent and on the email wrote DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL, even though I had been replying to that email previously with response. I did reply but nothing further from GXS. A few days later I received a letter from trace, I read through the newbies post and subsequently ignored the debt collection stage. Today I received a letter from BW Legal, again from the newbies post I have gone back to GXS and emailed for an SAR, it says to send an email to the solicitors as well. Is this just as simple as I have sent your client an SAR? Should I also write to the land owner? Its a beach/cliff side parking site so not sure if it is worth it? I also wondered if now that I am at this stage with BW legal is it likely to go to court?
Thank you for all the information you have provided on newbies, hopefully I have followed along well enough.

More than 30 days (but seems to work out as 30 working days - even though date given is a Sunday), it mentions the next letter would be a letter of claim
Yes Sussex, Hove/shoreham

Thought so, Shoreham Port as usual. scam site with a hidden camera so no-one knows they are being filmed. I'm localish in another part of West Sussex and you can see me in this TV documentary that you should watch, to understand the scam:

I'm the lady on Shoreham beach and bargepole is the guy at his kitchen table. We both help people with court claims but so does everyone on this forum. You are not alone, no biggie. Defence will be about lack of signs there.
Read some other BW Legal threads and the LBC section of the NEWBIES thread that already answers your queries.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
