Wow, at £7 I would be looking a lot more than a kiss - although at my age 5 minutes would probably be enough. :(

Tip: if you are going to use a Drop off point, make sure the person you are dropping off knows what the time limit is. That way they can understand why you can't spend a long time seeing them off.
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.

Best to check the airport website for details. At LGW you need to first register your vehicle, or the vehicle being used.

    EAST MIDLANDS

30 minutes free in Blue Badge Parking Bays in Short Stay 1
Otherwise it is £6 for 30 minutes in Short Stay 1 (as it is in Short Stay 3)

I've previously utilised the FREE 1 hour available in Long Stay 2 and will almost certainly use it again in June. The shuttle bus runs every 10 to 15 minutes and the journey time from Long Stay 2 pick up point to the terminal is just 3 or 4 minutes.

DON'T use "RAPID Drop Off" £5 for 15 minutes - £1 PER MINUTE OVERCHARGE
Often no spaces available having entered the zone and massive queues for the exit, resulting in excess time & charges incurred OR an argument with car park attendant over the unavoidable delays encountered obviously not being your fault which you shouldn't be expected to pay for!
