Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Now light and dry but cloudy, air is cooler too. I have a wash load ready to peg out - will do that in a mo. Not sure wash load will get dry - but will see how it goes.
DH and DS1 getting ready for work, I'm showered, dressed and enjoying my first cuppa and my porridge whilst on here. DS2 settled and happy.
Lunch yesterday was a pub lunch out with relative - which was nice.
Back to work for us all - haircuts for DH and myself tonight then dinner afterwards - I have a joint of gammon so will put that in the ninja to cook which hairdresser is here.
Hoping work isn't going to be too difficult but we'll see.
Keep safe and well x

Good morning, thanks NMLC, hope work is ok today.Another grey and miserable start this morning, hope it's not as cold as yesterdayThe steam railway didn't go down very well yesterday with Dgs, he didn;t like the noise of the steam and didn't want to go on any of the trains, so after unsuccessfully trying to persuade him, we just came home, where he wanted to go to our little station nearby and watch trains! I think he must like to look at trains but not have any further contact. So we stood in the drizzle there for a while. However ds and family came over in the afternoon and stayed for tea so that brightened us up a bit.I've got housework to do today, and we'll go to the quiz tonight.Hope everyone has as good a day as they can today - take care folks.12

Morning All
Miserable weather this morning, drizzly and grey. Yesterday was overcast but mild enough, the washing dried on the line and the bedding went straight back on the bed.
Glad your DM is improving Ruby, hope your DM is settled Nelski.
Hope you are all ok Snoozer.
Went to Costco and Home Bargains yesterday, to say I didn't need anything I seem to have spent a small fortune although I bought some things to put away for Christmas so not too bad. Cut the grass and sorted the new solar lights when I got home, DD and the little one called in for an hour too.
Back to work again today, we have an in service day on Thursday, no children in so should get a lot done.
Take care. XX13 -
Morning folks and thanks NMLC. Another gloomy day forecast for us. It tried to rain earlier but came to nowt yet again. I can;t believe I am longing for a good downpour, if only to give the garden a good soaking!
Still no Tuesday meet up with oldest buddy. She was hopeful of today but after thinking she was recovering better than she is it seems to have knocked her back and she is feeling down in the dumps. I have to keep reminding her how old we are and we can't expect to bounce back as quickly as we once did.
My Te*co delivery duly arrived yesterday with no items missing but I did have 3 subs. Nothing I can't live with! .
No plans for the day but considering I have just spent a very slothful long w/e I suppose I ought to tackle a few outstanding jobs!
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, poorly loved ones and those recovering. Take care one and all and be safe xx."If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"13 -
Morning
Missed a couple of days posting as my hands were suddenly very painful. Definitely linked to weather and it been a fairly grim weekend here
Had a pleasant enough time with mostly sloth mixed in with some general tidying. Food was the slow cooked beef cheeks which was really tasty and did for 3 meals for £1.75 so quite a bargain. I know that will probably be a gippy food for some but it really is lovely. There’s very little food I don’t like apart from the devils food …tomatoes particularly tinned which does limit some options. Tripe I actually don’t know whether I do like or not. Dad used to have it every Friday when we were kids mum got it from the market wrapped in newspaper and we would have beans on toast. I do love cockles mussels and prawns though and in fact most fish. This week I got a jar of herrings reduced from £3. 99 to 99p! Guess I’m in the minority with those too. They always remind me of posh buffet lunches in hotels when I was away with work.
I have my HRT appointment today which I’m hoping ends with a script. Had to get weighed this morning which I pretty much avoid most of the time. Surprised to find the news good. Could do with a couple of pounds off to get to my fighting weight but nothing too drastic so a pleasant surprise. Food tonight is sausage pasta which will hopefully be a freezer portion with sausages in this time.
Snoozer hope you are all feeling better
Have a great day all

Morning everyone another miserable day here and it’s cold back to work today but it’s a short week still struggling with this foot well both feet really but my right one is so tight it will sort itself out I hope I am resting and doing all my exercises but it just takes time. I have got some chicken out of the freezer it will be a stir fry when I get in at 5 tonight I have got a horrible smell in my fridge I have emptied it and cleaned it all out cleaned everything in it and the little hole at the back but when I opened it this morning the smell is there again I don’t know what it is I will do it again tonight when I get in but I’m baffled. Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing11

Morning everyone, thanks for the start nmlc and hope work is okay today x
We went to a craft fayre yesterday. Bought a couple of bits to put away for Christmas, plus some cheese, Turkish Delight and some bakery goods for DH to eat there and then. I had taken a cereal bar with me so only needed tea! We met up with some friends which was nice and then came home for roast chicken. Need to pop the carcass in the slow cooker today to make soup.
It’s a grey start today. I have some washing to do – will see if it brightens up enough to peg outside, otherwise it’ll be in the spare room.
Hope you can catch up with your buddie soon TA x
Shame about the steam trains Scarlett, DGS is clearly a no fuss kind of boy!
Get well soon to the snoozers, Izzy’s feet, Nelski’s hand, and anyone else struggling.

Morning everyone
Dull and dreary here today - as it was yesterday and quite chilly.
Little one was here for a few hours - DD and a friend took her to a safari park on Sunday so she was so excited to tell me about all the animals.
I got her paints out and she sat for more than an hour painting - she loves it and paints very carefully, though she likes to paint her hands when she's finished and make handprints. She then spent half an hour at the kitchen sink washing her pots and paintbrushes and having a good old slop - the floor got a good soaking too but easy wiped up. I got the tea started and then had a sit outside while she watered the plants. She's very pleased with herself - last summer I had to turn the tap on the water butt on and off for her. Now she can turn it on, fill up her little watering can and turn the tap off again. She was so proud of herself!
She carried on making puddles and footprints and having a great time while I made spaghetti and meatballs for tea, which she wolfed down.
I think the water in the butt might not last so long this summer!
I had an early night but still very achy this morning - no work today but I've said I'll do afternoons the rest of the week. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow so will see what she says.
Eldest DDs boxes of books are due to be picked up today - any time between 9am and 7pm.
Right I better get on.
Hope everyone has a good day. Take care x12 -
Hi everyone, Just a quick update to say we are still in the land of the living. I'm getting a bit better every day, Steve is ok but is being a moaning minnie, Laura is probably at the worst stage and Brian and Esben are clear so far. Brian took Esben to the zoo yesterday but he's gone to work today so the brunt of Esben watching is going to fall to me. Nelski, I hope your appointment goes well and yours dp1. Scarlet, what a shame but he obviously knows what he enjoys. Have a good day.11
