Can anyone help me work out how to fit this roof box?
I’m trying to sort a roof box for our upcoming family holiday. I bought some Atera roof bars, then a second hand Kamei box, but it doesn’t fit. The u-shaped bolts are too small, I think for smaller steel bars whereas I have the bigger oval bars.

The box is old so I can’t buy the fittings from Kamei. Does anyone know where I can buy some bigger u-shaped bolts from? Here’s some pics.

Clamps go under the roofbars into the box, 2 prongs facing upwards.

I've never used U-bolts with Aero bars, you can clamp into the rail easily:

Or these 90mm u-bolts may work - depending on whether you box has the right fittings.

The T track fitting kit is what you need, either the one in the first link or https://www.roofbox.co.uk/scripts/rbvehsel4_tab.php/all-products/thule_25mm_x_30mm_roof_box_aerobar_adapters_no_tu696_1_fits_bmw_own_brand_bars_/Qx@w,6M4PHS,ZGenkQvENtD1SWider U bolts from 2nd link are no good as you would need to drill the box and it has a strengthened fitting area.

Thanks guys. I've ordered one of those Thule kits. All I needed was four 't' bolts, either M6 or 8. Seems very overpriced, but oh well.0
