What do I do with my COVID ID Cert

I've been booked on a flight (late June) to Portugal via easyJet (Belfast) and home again via Aer Lingus (Dublin)

I've downloaded my COVID ID Certificate.  It just seems to be a PDF with the dates of my vaccinations (3) and barcodes.

What do I do with it?  Is that it, just show this at the airport,  do I have to download it as a hard copy or is it downloaded to an app?  The only COVID app I have is my local track and trace.

These might sound silly questions, but like many it's my first time on a plane from lockdown and I just don't know the procedure!

I’m not totally familiar with NI NHS, but in England you would want the NHS main app rather than the covid version and download the certificates from there. You can then save them to file on your phone or print them out.

You may or may not need to upload them to your airline prior to your flight.

I am also not familiar with any differences for NI. I have just booked my first flights in July and have made a note in my diary to request a printed version of my Covid pass via NHS 119  as a back up about a month before departure. My pass is also accessible via the NHS app not the Covid one. I haven't yet saved it to a file on my phone.

You could download yourself nearer the time.

Yes but I will never rely 100% on a phone or any other technology. It could fail at the wrong moment. I always print boarding passes/train tickets etc. just in case.

That’s what I was suggesting, you can download and print out nearer the time. Or if you carry back up battery, you can download and save to your phone.

NHS Scotland has a Covid Staus app which can be downloaded on iPhone or iPad etc.
Presumably there is one for NI ?
That brings up the necessary electronic documentation.
If you have the paper equivalent as well - you should be good to go.
What does Portugal require at point of entry ?
