this is a boss idea!
i sold something on ebay for £15, but I bought something for £60...I found 4p to go in my pig, i've got two massive ones adn I am obsessed with finding pennies to fill it! I work in a bar and I (this is horrid sorry) even wash the pennies idiots put in their ashtrays. Every penny counts!!
I spent £3 in boots on toothpaste and I have resisted going to the supermarket for chocolate though it is killing me.
But I accidentally overpaid my dad's credit card by £60 as I thought I owed him more than i did, so that was nice!
That earlier idea about cereal for lunch is brilliant - i love cereal, every kind and I i will definately be doing that from now on, no more crab paste for me!
yum, shreaded wheat...0 -

£15 on lunch but I can claim it back on expenses as I was with a customer. "lent" DD my credit card to buy some items from figleaves but used a £10 voucher so £26 which I might get back if the wind is blowing in the right direction and the moon is made of green cheese!...0

Must start with my concerns for Newunk - you must be fair bustin' !!!
Bought a Telegraph newspaper today 60p ( normally we buy one on a saturday which lasts all week but I had a lot of waiting around to do today (and am dicted to those Sodukos even though I am rubbish at them) this meant that I gave in to temptation and bought a dipped flake for 55p (very expensive as a shop within a hospital and I should know better)
Also put £19.30 of petrol in car as off to work in another hospital tomorrow but will probably get about £15 back in travel expenses and so will have gained greatly overall (thats where NHS money goes folks coz it's not on wages)
That's it for today but will have to buy bread and potatoes tomorrow so will see...0 -

Well today after work I had to do my grocery shop. Spent about $95. I then went to a new fruit shop that's just opened down the road from us and spent $10. I think this was a real bargain for what I got as fruit & veg are very expensive here due to not much rain. I got
5kg potatoes $3
chokoes, broccoli, celery, large pumpkin, zucchini, bananas, mandarins,
capsicum, onion & carrots
Not too sure how long the bargains will last so I thought I'd get in quick.
I also have a friend who is learning remedial massage. She has get hours up for her to pass her tests. I am having a free massage on Friday, I just need to give her a small amount to cover oil. I'm so looking forward to it, as I've never had a massage like that before. After it you have to drink a fair amount of water as it get's rid of your toxins.Sounds interesting. Will take about 1 1/2 hrs. Aahhhhh.....can't wait. :T
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -

Perhaps we should do something similiar on this board? Either saying how much you have spent/not spent, how you have saved money or stuck to your budget, or had a LYBM (Live Below Your Means) day - or perhaps you have made money today by selling something on ebay. Hopefully this will encourage us dealing with debt-ers (DWD) to stay on the straight & narrow, and hear about how other people manage to stick to a budget. xxI'm delighted I've inspired you!! :T
I haven't spent a penny today (well I've "spent a penny" but not a *penny* LOL)~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Hiya Queenie - you have inspired me. I love reading your posts on the Old Style Board, im there when im not here.
I just went out for lunch, spent £7.80 - oooops. Oh well, its gotta be done occasionally I guess.
Roll on 5pm, I am tired!! Got my 2nd i/v tomorrow - eeeeeeeeek!!
Just listed a few more items on ebay (and seen a few i would like to buy, kind of defeats the object of selling, but never mind, hehe!!).
See you later. xx0 -
