Made fast online payment not showing

So I’ve made a payment to my credit card marbles which was for £45 through fast payment everything looked to go through.

but then a message appeared stating payment failed on my marbles app and that the amount hasn’t been taken from the account that I was making the payment from this was Friday also had a email saying payment failed.

however upon looking on my Halifax banking app the amount has indeed gone out I tried there chat service basically a bot payments can take a day to clear fast payments have always came up straight away so should i wait a Few days and see if it appears I’ve taken screenshots of the failed email payment and a screenshot from Halifax showing payment leaving my account

i would leave till Tuesday see if updates as its the next working day, if there is a message facility on your credit card account I would also message them advising of the issue

How far off is the payment due date?

In future you might wish to consider alternative payment methods with shorter lead times than the 7 working days for Faster Payments, such as direct debit or debit card:

My payment due date is 23rd of May
Friday I think was when my statement was generated so always pay it through fast bank transfer on the day my statement is generated

....in which case that practice, while usually unnecessary, buys you plenty of time to resolve this particular issue!
